Sneak Peek of “Christmas is Christ” Lyric video

Here is a sneak peek at my upcoming video for the single “Christmas is Christ”

My Baby’s First Christmas Lullaby

I tried my hand at orchestral music production last year, and I decided to share the music with the world… I think that it works great as a Christmas lullaby to help get your family into the Christmas spirit and to get your babies to sleep!

“Dreams I Didn’t Even Know I Had”

I am releasing my latest Christian worship CD on November 15th… it will feature my Christmas song “Christmas is Christ” and the Advent song “Tender Mercy” (originally released as a single last year). The music is recorded and out for mastering. You can help me in getting this project out by participating in my Kickstarter […]

Check out this Blacklight Drama of “Tender Mercy” performed by the First Presbyterian Church of Urbana Youth Group

What a great job these young people did using my song “Tender Mercy (Zechariah’s Song)” in a manner that I never imagined.

One more for Advent! Light One Candle To Watch For Messiah – An Advent Hymn

I have said it before and it bears repeating for this blog post that because I became a Christian just over 7 years ago, an “old Christian hymn” for me is anything off of Chris Tomlin’s Arriving. So, I am always greatly appreciative when a brother or sister who has been in the faith much […]

12 Songs For Advent

This season, I have become a lot more appreciative of the meaning of Advent and have searched out for relevant advent songs (and arrangements) to present to the church. Particularly, I have been focused on the concepts of light and of waiting. If you are a worship leader who has been struggling to do the […]

Introducing Tender Mercy (Zechariah’s Song): A Song For Advent

This song has appeared here before, but I am finally releasing the mastered studio version to the public… The story surrounding the song is basically this: my Pastor casually opined in a sermon: “Mary gets a ton of songs about her. Why doesn’t Zechariah get his own song?” I obliged. Essentially, the song is the […]

New song – Trust in the Lord

New song – Trust in the Lord

Sharefaith.com is having a contest asking folks to write a song based on Proverbs 3:5-6. Thanks to some young men and women at LIFEhouse, we turned the song into a music video. Thanks to Dahn B for his great background vocals and post production/mixing!

Jesus Culture’s “I Am In Love With You” or Why We Have To Be Careful As Worship Songwriters

Jesus Culture’s “I Am In Love With You” or Why We Have To Be Careful As Worship Songwriters

I start with a testimony on God’s sense of humor. As a new Christian some 7 or so years ago put in position of leading worship at my church, I found myself disliking worship songs with excessively “lovey-dovey” lyrics for God. Particularly, I was dismissive of those worship songs that became comedic fodder for the […]

In May, 2005, Rob was a secular, Jewish, thirty-something, Los Angeles, personal injury attorney whose idea of getting up early on a Sunday was getting up for the third quarter of the first televised, NFL games.

Thirsting on the idea of playing in a band for the first time in a decade, Rob finally accepted his neighbor's request to get up at seven-in-the-morning on Sundays in order to participate.

Eleven months later, his world was turned upside down by Jesus. Instantly, he began leading songs on the worship team and was the worship leader from 2010-2022.

Rob is now the worship leader at Calvary Chapel Malibu. He released his fifth album “The Author of My Story” on December 15, 2023, available on all of your favorite streaming platforms… and he is preparing to launch a new Christian teaching podcast called “Christ Supremacist.”
